Send SMS form GMail: How to Send SMS from GMail
Did you know you can send SMS from your Gmail account!
Gmail a mail service from Google™, Gmail loved by many and used by many. Gmail now offers SMS service for 42 Countries of the world – Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Bahrain Bangladesh, Benin, Cambodia, Cameroon, Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Ghana, Guam, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Pakistan, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Thailand, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, and Zambia.
The service not known to many including which was known to me yesterday I when was chatting with one of my friend in Gmail. But, I haven’t tried it using Google talk.
SMS – Short Message Service, used by all mobile users and especially by the students. This service was once free and now all mobile providers charge for the service. This is because all users started to use this service as it was free. In, India it is restricted 100sms/day.
Now, we move on to our subject: Sending SMS via Gmail
- Log onto your Gmail Account.
- Go to your contacts page.

- Add the contact to your contacts page.

- Add the number of your contact.

Last 2 Step Sending SMS
- See the contact in your chat box in the sidebar. Make a hover on your contact and go to More and there Send SMS

- You will find a Popup message box appearing on your screen, type your message and it will be sent to the given number of contact.

Great Option introduced by Google but unfortunately Airtel Mobile Carrier is not Supported.
